Fever
To part in part this health declines,
My throat inflamed, my flesh assigned.

Like once before in simpler times.
This fever hot, unruly though
My day our night, we spend alone,
This sweat but yet, is not full grown,
And dry the mouth that thirsts and groans.
Now as I wait in solitaire
